The Hidenka Den

Sakura ventured out of the den. She shut her eyes at the bright sun. She had been in the den for about four days. She looked around for her inky father. Where was he?! He was supposed to be bring lunch. And what about that friend of his? She needed someone to talk and play with. You cant expect a poor little pup to sit around all day by herself. Nope, definitely not going to happen. "Ohh Daddy?! OhhhhhDaddy!" she yelled around the camp, looking for her father. He should come running with her calling for him.

An inky dire padded through the thicket, his paws brushed over leaves and grass. His massive jaws held two hares and a fish. He knew his daughter would be hungry and certainly hyper. He rolled his blue pools when her heard he calls. He pushed his massive body through the bushes. He walked up to her as he set down the food he caught. His black nose nudged his pup onto her back before he nuzzled her. His blue optics glistend in joy, no matter how much he sees her just being away from her for more then a minute brings sadness to him. She was his joy, his happy ray of sunshine. His thick tail wagged happily as he licked her all over.

Laying down he nudged a hare towards his offspring before took one himself. His large sharp teeth tore into the flesh. He ravanged in his meal, eating everything besides the heart, intestines, and bones. He looked around wondering where his friend Lillian was at. Their friendship was odd. He was possessive and really aggressive while she was calm and level headed. He always wondered how their friendship grew let alone started.
"Speech!"

~The graceful dark gray beta was keeping watch on top of a large stone that was in the water next to the den. That's what she did most of the time when she wasn't socializing. She saw Atticus, her friend, pad into with prey in his mouth, but she wasn't sure if he saw her. When she heard his daughter's voice, the wolf leaped on the dry terrain. Before the wolf came in, she took a peak inside.

She saw Sakura and Atticus eating by each other. That sight made a smile on her face. The pup reminded her about her puphood. Lillian never grew up with a father and lived with her mother until she was a yearling. Her life was rough, but it got easier when she joined the pack. Slowly, she padded up to the couple. "Greetings, Atticus and Sakura." The she wolf said and glanced at the fish. She wondered if it was for her, but she wasn't just going to take it like she didn't have any sense.~

Atticus raised his eyebrows in surprise at how fast his daughter ate her food, "well your hungry. The male said in a scratchy voice. He let out a low chuckle at how Sakura was hungry and awake one moment then tired the next. When she laid down on his side her curled his thick tail around her in a protective manner. The sky was cloudy today though little patches of sunshine could be seen here and there. His black ears perked at the sound of his Beta and close friend. "Ah Lillian, nice of you to join us! I was wondering where you ran off too. I got you a fish in case you were hungry," Atticus nudged the fish the black fea was eyeing. He looked down at Sakura for a moment when she greeted Lillian. His love towards his daughter could be put in no words. Let's just say she could be the death of him. Though she was a wolf-dog nothing could be more perfect about her. She reminded him greatly of his mate, her mother. She had her pelt and honed his electric blue eyes, yet she had neither of her parents build so far. He did know he effected her behavior though. He didn't like strangers, she didn't like strangers; he was snappy, rude, and hot-headed, so was she. It was funny yet sad since she would never know how to open up to others. Heck, it took forever for Atticus to allow himself to trust and open up to Lillian. She had a good vibe and personality he only hoped that some of that would rub off onto Sakura. "Anything to report Lil?" The onyx colored brute whispered to the inky maiden. Sakura's soft snores could be heard indicating she was sound asleep, though he didn't know how long that would last. He was slightly surprised at how tired she was when staying inside the den for four days, strange to be honest. But he didn't complain, she could be a handful.
